2023

The North Haven Fire Department responds to all EMS, Fire, and Rescues calls for service. In addition, the department is a member of the New Haven Area Regional Special Hazards (NHASH) team. The department houses the units special decon trailer which is deployed from headquarters Co#1.

During 2023 the department responded to 4866 alarms. Of these, 52 percent were EMS related. Another 42 percent were fire related, and 6 percent were motor vehicle accidents.

The department continues to see a rise in simultaneous calls, 40% of the time in 2023 there were multiple incidents occurring at the same time.

2022

The North Haven Fire Department responds to all EMS, Fire, and Rescues calls for service. In addition, the department is a member of the New Haven Area Regional Special Hazards (NHASH) team. The department houses the units special decon trailer which is deployed from headquarters Co#1.

During 2022 the department responded to 5184 alarms. Of these, 54 percent were EMS related. Another 40 percent were fire related, and 6 percent were motor vehicle accidents.

The department continues to see a rise in simultaneous calls, 25% of the time in 2022 there were multiple incidents occurring at the same time.

2021

The North Haven Fire Department responds to all EMS, Fire, and Rescues calls for service. In addition, the department is a member of the New Haven Area Regional Special Hazards (NHASH) team. The department houses the units special decon trailer which is deployed from headquarters Co#1.

During 2021 the department responded to 4896 alarms. Of these, 56 percent were EMS related. Another 37 percent were fire related, and 7 percent were motor vehicle accidents.

The department continues to see a rise in simultaneous calls, 21% of the time in 2021 there were multiple incidents occurring at the same time.

2020

During 2020 the department responded to 4875 alarms. Of these, 64 percent were EMS related. Another 30 percent were fire related, and 6 percent were motor vehicle accidents.

The department continues to see a rise in simultaneous calls, 33% of the time in 2020 there were multiple incidents occurring at the same time.
