The North Haven Fire Department hosts a poster contest for students in grades 4th & 5th. Students create original works of art with the theme of practicing fire safety at home and at school. Artwork is then scored and judged based on originality, clarity of message and design.
The 2024 Poster Contest theme was “Cooking Safety Starts with You. Pay attention to Fire Prevention” which embodies this year’s fire prevention week.
